JOHN TERRY JOINS CITY

John Terry has decided to leave Chelsea unless he gets assurances from The Russian that Chelsea will match his own ambition. We have heard this Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole excuse before so prepare yourselves for the shock transfer of the summer. JT is fortunate, his professional career has coincided with Chelsea, through Bates/Harding/Abromovich being a serious contender for all major trophies. Some of us though remember Chelsea for who they are, a West London club with no history. Easy come, easy go. With Chelsea signing Turnbull and Sturridge, Mr Chelsea must be wondering whether the 15 minutes of fame is over for the jumped up pantry boys of the Kings Road.
