The Geordie Nation is getting excited. New ownership, new manager, new money courtesy of the secretive Mike Sshhley. Waving hello to the big time apparently. We all know it takes time and alot of money to build a "successful" team today. Newcastle Utd may spend £30m in the transfer window but the sheer quantity of players needed means that money gets spread very thinly. Meanwhile the Big Four refine, spending their kitty on a few players, focussing on quality. Waving hello to the big time? Not exactly, flapping like hell to stay afloat in the premier league more like. The good news is that without Ssh! and his mates they would be dead in the water already.
